What will change
Those playing now know that the rating formula is heavily simplified — teams rated 3000 and above stay at the top. We made this simplification on purpose: so that players gain rating faster and get arena gear sooner.
Now we have decided to move away from this simplification and make getting the A4 set harder than it is now. It is based on the original ELO formula, slightly simplified.

To clearly show how rating will change, we have made a rating calculator. Enter your rating and your opponent's rating to see how many points you gain for a win and lose for a loss.
Arena season 4 starts on July 22 at 18:00 Moscow time
— All arena teams will be reset — teams will need to be created again
— Accumulated arena points will be converted into honor points at a 1 to 5 rate
— Existing BG marks and honor points will not be removed
— All 1v1 arena statistics will also be reset
