1. Isle of Quel'Danas
Access opens to the Isle of Quel'Danas — an island north of Eversong Woods, the final zone of patch 2.4. Here the Shattered Sun Offensive campaign unfolds: the combined forces of the Aldor and Scryers, sent by the Sha'tar, are driving out the remnants of Kael'thas's army from the island and trying to stop the summoning of Kil'jaeden at the Sunwell.
This is a daily quest hub with server-wide progression: by completing dailies, players gradually reclaim the island, advancing through key stages — Sun's Reach Sanctum → Sun's Reach Armory → Sun's Reach Harbor. As each stage is captured, new NPCs, quests, and services become available:
- Repair vendors and merchants for Badge of Justice
- Gear vendors at the Sun's Reach Armory — exchange T4, T5, and T6 tokens for Season 1/2 sets and Vindicator's gear
- A Shattrath → Quel'Danas portal for quick travel (the return trip — via a scroll from the Know Your Ley Lines daily)
? 2. Sunwell Plateau
At launch, the first three bosses will be open: Kalecgos, Brutallus, and Felmyst. The remaining bosses will unlock as progress is made through the raid.

- At launch — Kalecgos, Brutallus, Felmyst.
- After killing Felmyst → after 2 lockouts (14 days), the Eredar Twins (Lady Sacrolash and Grand Warlock Alythess) unlock.
- After killing the Eredar Twins → after 2 lockouts, M'uru unlocks.
- After killing M'uru → after 2 lockouts, Kil'jaeden unlocks — the raid's final boss.
?️ 3. Making Sunwell Preparation Easier
To help players prepare for the final raid more easily, we're making a few changes.
Starting July 8 — the lockout timer for all T4, T5, and T6 raids is being reduced to 3–4 days. Lockouts will reset twice a week:
- on Wednesday at 04:00 MSK
- on Sunday at 04:00 MSK
You can now clear all trash in T4 and T5 raids. To do this, the raid leader needs to open «.menu» and press a special button. This lets you head straight for the bosses without spending time clearing trash.
In Black Temple, the door to Mother Shahraz now opens after killing Shade of Akama, and in Hyjal Summit all bases are now available from the start — bosses can be killed in any order.
