VPN-servers

Our project is hosted in one of the best data centers - OVH.com, on a server with a powerful configuration, a gigabit channel, and DDoS protection. However, some players occasionally experience sudden increases in ping and delays, while others do not face such issues. These disruptions have a global nature and are related to the routes your internet service provider establishes to our server in France. The routes constantly change, and sometimes there are failures along these routes, leading to increased delays in packet transmission and, ultimately, to higher ping and lag. In such cases, using VPN services can help bypass these problems, as the routes will be established through different network nodes.

For the convenience of players, we provide our own VPN servers that can be automatically connected to when logging into the game.

[VPN-MSK] - Located in Moscow, Russia.
[VPN-AMS] - Located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

When connecting through VPN servers, you will enter the same game world, but your traffic will be routed through a different network node in the selected city and country.

Upon initial connection, all your binds and addon settings will not be available automatically, and you will need to transfer them manually. To do this, you need to create a copy of the folder at the following path: C:\Games\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\(YOUR_ACCOUNT)\(REALM_NAME), and then add the name of the VPN server you are using to the end of the new folder's name. For example:
  • Original folder: C:\Games\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\USERNAME\Moonwell x100
  • New folder: C:\Games\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\USERNAME\Moonwell x100 [VPN-MSK]

Please note that using VPN makes sense only in case of connection issues, such as lags, increased ping, inability to connect, or individual disconnects. If you are not experiencing such problems, it is recommended to connect directly to the server, without using VPN, to avoid potential ping increases.
