New Moonwell x5 - Soon!

At the end of November 2025, Moonwell x5 returns with a grand relaunch! A fresh realm with optimal rates and features designed for the most comfortable Burning Crusade experience. We have carefully prepared, taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of the previous launch, and are now ready to present an improved version of the server, created based on player feedback and suggestions.

Features

⚔️	Server Phases The server progresses through 5 time-based phases: PvE — T4→T5→T6→ZA→SWP, PvP — from A1→A2→A3→A4
?	Challenging Content New raids will open in pre-nerf mode starting from T5, with enhanced trash and boss stats, as well as original pre-nerf mechanics. T4 content will remain in its original state to allow everyone to prepare for T5.
?️	Horde vs Alliance Cross-faction groups will be disabled on the new realm. Classic Horde versus Alliance rivalry, as originally intended!
?	Racial Bonus Swapping Using a special NPC, you can change your current race's racial bonuses to another race's bonuses once every 2 weeks
?	Dual Spec All players automatically receive a Talent Book upon character creation, which allows saving talent builds and instantly switching between them anywhere, while preserving spell placement on action bars
⚔️	Evening Alterac Every day at 6:00 PM, registration for Alterac Valley begins - be ready for epic 40v40 battles!
⏱️	Resurrection and CD Reset After Boss Wipes No more wasting time running through the entire raid or waiting for cooldowns to reset - jump straight into the next attempt!
⚡	Alliance Bonuses Additional bonuses will be active for Alliance to maintain faction balance

Expected Population

A large-scale advertising campaign is planned across various platforms to ensure stable and high population from the very start. The previous launch exceeded 3000 players online - we're happy to repeat this result!

Shop

As with the previous launch, we guarantee that equipment will not appear in the shop. Among currencies - only gold at a reasonable price, without harming the economy. Either we sell it, or third-party platforms do. No difference.

Launch Date

The planned launch date is end of November. The exact date will be announced in early November on the realm's special promo page.

Test Realm

On Saturday, October 11, a PTR realm will become available for testing to help us find bugs that were missed. Participants will be provided with various commands and tools. Detailed information will be published on the PTR launch day.

Current Moonwell x5 Realm

We value players who still play on the current Moonwell x5 and enjoy the experience. The current realm will continue to operate normally, even after the new launch. All characters and their data will remain in place. When the time comes, character transfer from Old x5 to Moonwell x5 will become available, however this option will not appear soon.

To avoid confusion with realm names, on October 8 we will rename the current Moonwell x5 realm to Old x5. Realm renaming will affect macros and addon settings.

• Testers: bug finding and description, deep knowledge of WoW mechanics
• Developers: working with DB and server core in C++ (TrinityCore, Mangos)
• Moderators: frequent online presence, chat moderation
• Game Masters: helping players, resolving non-standard situations
